Notice of Preparation Assessment 
Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll for the Northern Village of Sandy Bay for the year 2024 has been prepared and is open to inspection in the office of the assessor from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00, on the following days: Monday to Friday, July 12 to August 12, 2024. Any person wishing to discuss the notice of assessment or potential appeal may contact the assessor at the Northern Village of Sandy Bay c/o Northern Municipal Services La Ronge, SK Box 113 S0J1L0. A notice of appeal, accompanied by a $50 appeal fee which will be returned if the appeal is successful, must be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Revision by August 12, 2024.

A: The Assessment Notice is the official notice of the assessed value of your property as determined by Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA).

A: All property owners in the Village received a 2024 assessment notice.

Q: How is the assessment value calculated?
A: The assessment values come from SAMA-the assessment provider. Call SAMA at 1-800-498-0576 for details.

Q: What do I do with this notice?
A: Please review the assessment values, assessment classification, and all other information on this notice. If you have any questions regarding this notice or the assessment values, you may contact SAMA at 1-800-498-0576. If you believe there are errors in the assessment values, you may lodge an appeal.


Assessment Appeals 

Q: When do I need to have my appeal in by?
A: August 12, 2024 is the final day to appeal.

Q: Is there a cost to appealing?
A: $50 per appeal. Funds will be refunded if appeal is successful.
